Retail StartUp & eCommerce: Case Study

The Barber House is a luxury gentleman's barber shop in Birmingham city centre. The challenge was to build a new website from scratch and to establish a brand identity to bring in a new customer base.

With a growing competition, the website had to rank at the top spot on Google for key search terms such as 'Barber In Birmingham'. It should reflect the premium nature of the services offered and appeal to a wide audience.

As part of the website build, a fully integrated eCommerce platform was to be added in order to sell hair products and gift vouchers online.

Now that The Barber House is well established, the website consistently ranks at the top of Google. The business's commitment to customer service has meant that it's many positive reviews have contributed to its successful search position. The eCommerce offer also brings in a substantial additional income stream, leading to a very happy and returning customer.

Website Transfer, Rebuild & SEO: Case Study

Adventureland is a popular soft play centre in Aldridge with a transient customer base. The business offers kid’s parties and also has a separate Early Year’s Nursery setting.

The challenge was to completely rebuild a new website as the old one was not performing well. The client found it hard to update a clunky Wordpress template, which consistently presented errors with out of date plugins. The site was also not mobile-friendly and could often load slowly.

The project was fairly complex for such a small site, as there were many dead pages and broken links. The hosting also needed to be transferred from another provider and emails reintegrated with Adventureland systems.

However, the project was completed successfully and within a relatively short timescale. The client received two brand new websites (one for the soft play and one for the nursery) that outperformed the old one in every way. Both rank well on Google for the desired keywords and the client is able to take online bookings for parties, with payments going directly in to the company account.
